Cranked forged tines have a deliberate offset bend near the mounting point, providing clearance for specific loader designs and enabling lower-profile bale presentation during transport. The crank geometry is specified when the standard straight or curved tine would create interference with the loader frame, cab, or attachment bracket, or when the operator requires the bale to sit lower and closer to the machine for improved visibility and stability during road transport. The cranked profile is forged in a single die operation to preserve grain structure integrity through the offset section. Like all our tines, cranked tines are manufactured from spring steel, heat-treated to a controlled hardness range, and finished with an environmentally friendly protective coating. Available in Square, Round, Double-T, and Star cross-section profiles with height offset dimensions that match standard loader clearance requirements. Cranked tines are commonly specified for front-end loaders with low-profile attachment frames, compact telehandlers where cab clearance is limited, and specialized bale handling equipment where the tine mounting point is set back from the standard position.
